GARAGE SALE - SKINS Cosmetics

To me Skins Cosmetics is a like a paradise filled with beauty gems: unique perfumes, skin care products, make up, candles and accessories. Each time I visit one of these stores in Amsterdam - and there are 2: one in the famous 9 Streets and another one at a gorgeous Conservatorium hotel - I spend at a good hour inside.

Manicure session

On another rainy day in Amsterdam I thought to use my time wisely while enjoying my couch and watching the rain poor outside. Took out the tools and got down to doing a manicure using some of my favourite products from Essie, Chanel, Laura Mercier and Sephora. Color choice of dark red inspired by the weather, feels like fall. After soaking my fingers in warm water and removing cuticles, I start with applying Essie Grow Stronger base coat. Then 2 coats of Chanel Le Vernis nail polish. Next step - applying Essie Super Duper fast drying top coat which adds not only beautiful gloss but also durability, strength, and chip resistance to my  manicure. As a finishing touch, applying Laura Mercier body souffle with oh-so-amazing heavenly smell of coconut. We are done. Result - beautiful manicure made at home.
